Living in Calderton Central
The city core - towers, theatres and everything within ten minutes.
Calderton Central is where the city compresses: the station, the theatre quarter, Corporation Street's shops and offices, and a skyline that has changed completely since 2018. New buildings such as Vantage and Halcyon Point sit alongside characterful conversions like The Print Hall, the former newspaper works behind the theatres.
The appeal is simple - nobody who lives here commutes. The station is a few minutes' walk from almost any front door, the theatres and music venues fill the evenings, and the Saturday makers' market on Press Yard has become a fixture. Service standards in the newer buildings are high, with concierges, parcel rooms and residents' lounges now the norm rather than the exception.
Pricing is the most accessible in the city: one-bedroom flats from around £165,000 in older blocks and from the mid £190,000s in the new towers, with two-beds running £225,000 to £325,000. It is also the deepest rental market in Calderton, which keeps investors active at every launch.
