The agency is owned by the people who work in it, which means every recommendation we make is ours, and every client is looked after by a decision-maker.

Margaret Oakes
Founding Director
Margaret opened the doors at 14 Market Square in 1987 and has handled the sale of some Wexbridge houses three times over. She still values every period property the firm takes on, and clients of thirty years' standing ask for her by name. Away from the office she chairs the Wexbridge Civic Society.
Daniel Stone
Sales Director
Daniel is the second generation of the Stone family in the firm, joining in 2003 after training with a national agency in the county town. He leads the sales side day to day and is known for keeping chains together when they wobble. He lives in Norden Heath with his family and two unhurried spaniels.
Priya Shah
Senior Negotiator
Priya joined Oak & Stone in 2015 and progressed from Saturday viewings assistant to senior negotiator. She has an unusually good memory for buyers' wish lists, which is often how the quiet sales happen before a board ever goes up. Priya grew up in Wexbridge and went to school a street away from the office.
Helen Carter
Lettings & Office Manager
Helen runs our lettings portfolio and keeps the office itself running to time. Landlords value her straightforward advice on compliance and her insistence that a well-looked-after tenant is the best protection a property can have. She has been with the firm since 2011.
