Cookie policy

The short version: this website doesn’t use cookies. No advertising cookies, no tracking cookies, and no analytics cookies - which is why you won’t see a cookie banner.

This policy explains what that means, and how the site still counts visitors and keeps its forms safe without them. It’s run by OLXR Limited, a company registered in the Isle of Man (company number 133388C).

What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Some are useful - remembering you’re logged in, or what’s in a shopping basket. Others follow you from site to site so you can be shown adverts, or build up a picture of what you do online.

This site doesn’t need either kind. There’s nothing to log into and nothing to buy, so it doesn’t save anything in your browser.

How the site works without them

Counting visitors. I use Fathom Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages are useful. It doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t store anything on your device, and doesn’t identify you or follow you to other websites. I only ever see totals.

Protecting the forms. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that form submissions come from a person rather than a bot. It doesn’t use cookies either; it looks at your IP address and basic browser signals for that check, and nothing else.

Videos. The videos are hosted alongside the rest of the site on Amazon Web Services, rather than on YouTube or similar - so watching them doesn’t set any cookies or share anything with a video platform.

Other websites

The site links to other websites - my products, WhatsApp, LinkedIn and others. Once you follow a link, you’re on their site, and their own cookie policy applies.

Controlling cookies yourself

You don’t need to do anything for this site. But if you’d like to control cookies on the websites you visit generally, every browser lets you see, block and delete them in its settings or privacy options.

Changes to this policy

If the site ever starts using cookies, I’ll update this page first - and ask for your permission before using any that aren’t strictly needed.
