What should your website actually do?

It starts with your business, your customers and what they need from your website.

A bespoke website built around your business - then hosted and looked after by me, for one monthly fee.

Let's talk about your website

See what that looks like

Two example sites, one for each plan - made to show what's possible, rather than for real clients.

How it works

  1. Chat

We talk about your business, who your customers are, what your website should look like, and what it should do for them.

    Step 1 of 6

  2. Plan

I write up the pages and features, with examples of the look we're aiming for, and a fixed monthly price. You agree it before any work starts.

    Step 2 of 6

  3. We agree and billing starts here
  4. Design

You see how your site will look, and sign it off before anything is built.

    Step 3 of 6

  5. Build

I build it from scratch, around the design you've signed off.

    Step 4 of 6

  6. Review

You try the working site and tell me what to change. Nothing goes live until you say yes.

    Step 5 of 6

  7. Live

Your site goes live, and I look after it from then on.

    Step 6 of 6

Live within 30 days

That's the aim for every site. How quickly depends on how fast we get through each step together.

Tell me about your business, and I'll show you what your website could do for it - in a written plan, with examples of the look and a fixed price - before you commit to anything.

Let's talk about your website

On every plan

A report every month

A short report on how your website is doing - how many people visited, how they found you, what they searched for, and how many got in touch. So you can see it working, rather than taking my word for it.

Hosted on AWS

Your site runs on Amazon Web Services, which commits to 99.9% uptime. It's backed up daily, loads quickly wherever your visitors are, and copes with a busy day without slowing down.

Almost anything can be added

Your site is built from scratch, not from a theme - so there's no plugin to hunt for and no template telling you what you can't have. There are three ways to add something, and which one you need decides the cost - I'll tell you which that is.

Included

Link out to a system you already use

If you already use a booking system, an online shop or a client portal, your site links to it - with a button in your own brand, right where people expect to find it. That's included in your plan, whatever it links to. You just keep paying for the system itself.

Usually quoted

Wire it into the site itself

Deeper than a link: the two systems talk to each other, so your live availability shows on your own pages, an enquiry goes straight into your customer records instead of your inbox, or your listings update themselves. How much work that is depends on the system at the other end - small jobs are included, and anything bigger is quoted before it starts.

Its own project

Build it when nothing out there fits

When there's nothing to link to and nothing to integrate with, it gets built. That's bespoke software, quoted as its own project - and it's yours. It rarely starts from nothing, though: I've usually built the standard parts for your kind of business before, and that's reflected in the price.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to write the content?

No - I can draft all of it for you. You know your business and your customers better than anyone, so I'll ask for your feedback as we go and change anything that doesn't sound right. It's a joint effort: I do the writing, and you make sure it's right. All I need from you is your logo and brand colours if you have them, and a few websites you like the look of - that alone saves more back-and-forth than anything else.

I already have a site. What happens to it?

It stays live until the new one is ready, and we don't have to start from scratch. Rebuilding what you already have on current technology is often the sensible route - faster, safer, and easier to keep working. Either way, redirects are part of the move, which helps preserve existing links and search visibility.

Who owns the website?

Your domain, your hosting and any third-party accounts are set up in your name, and the content and data are yours. I run all of it for you as part of the monthly fee, so there's nothing for you to manage - but none of it is registered to me, so nothing has to be handed back if you ever move on.

Can I move between plans?

Yes. Start on Essential and move up to Growth whenever you're ready - the new price starts from the next month, and nothing already built needs redoing.

What if I want to leave early?

Leave whenever you like - there's no minimum term. If it's within a year of agreeing the plan, there's a one-off fee to cover the work already done. Either way nothing has to move: the domain, hosting and accounts are already in your name, and the code and content are yours.

Is this right for my business?

If you want a website that works and would rather not think about hosting, domains, plugins or what any of it is called, then yes - that is the whole point of it. It also suits anyone who has built something themselves with one of the AI tools and does not want to be the person responsible when it breaks. Those tools can get you a site that looks right; what they do not give you is hosting set up properly, security, backups, or someone to call in a year when it stops working.
