Team

The advocates and team.

Six of us, in chambers in Douglas. Two practising advocates lead the firm; each client's matter is led by one of them, supported by a small team of senior associate, paralegal, trainee, and office manager.

David Quayle

Founding Partner, Advocate

David Quayle

Manx Advocate (2003) · Isle of Man Law Society · Manx Bar Association

David founded Andreas Advocates in 2014. He was commissioned as a Manx Advocate in 2003 and has practised on the Isle of Man throughout his career. Before founding the firm, he was a senior advocate at one of the larger Manx legal practices.

His work covers the full range of the firm's practice areas, with particular experience in property, commercial work, and the disputes that arise in those areas.

David lives in Andreas with his family.

Catherine Kewley

Partner, Advocate

Catherine Kewley

Manx Advocate (2011) · Isle of Man Law Society

Catherine joined Andreas Advocates as a partner in 2019. She was commissioned as a Manx Advocate in 2011, qualifying with a UK firm before completing the Manx Advocates' course. She has practised in family law, private client, and estate administration throughout her career.

Her work at Andreas Advocates focuses on family law, wills and probate, and the private client matters that intersect with these areas. She contributes to local committees on family law practice.

Catherine lives in Onchan.

Who to approach: Catherine leads our family law, wills, and private client work. David leads property, commercial, and litigation work, and the wider practice. The first conversation will route you to the right advocate for your matter.

The wider team

Four behind the advocates.

A senior associate working alongside the partners on substantive matters, a paralegal handling the procedural side of cases, a trainee solicitor working toward qualification, and an office manager running the operational side of the firm. When you call Andreas Advocates, you'll usually speak to someone who knows your matter by name.
