Designed and built on the OLXR stack - not WordPress, not a shared template. Hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), the enterprise platform used by Netflix, Airbnb, and major banks. Includes secure HTTPS encryption (the padlock in your browser), automatic security updates, and uptime monitoring.

SEO and analytics report

A monthly SEO and analytics report covering search impressions, top pages, keyword trends, and a plain-English summary of what improved and what to focus on next. Built from your Google Search Console and Analytics data, delivered to your inbox every month without you needing to ask.

AI-assisted blog creation

Help with blog content that's actually realistic for a busy practice - topic suggestions based on your target keywords, AI-assisted drafts you can shape and publish quickly. Enough scaffolding to make sure SEO content actually gets written, without it being our voice instead of yours.

Branded social media graphics

Branded social media graphics through RepeatPosts, our own social graphics platform. Your brand colours and logo applied to a library of professional templates. Customise the text, download sized correctly for every platform.

Regular updates and reporting

Regular updates on site status, performance, and what's been done - delivered in a way that makes sense without needing technical knowledge.

Senior engineer accountable for results

Owen Jones - OLXR's founder and lead engineer - supports every Presence client directly. Each tier includes a monthly allowance of senior engineer time for updates, content changes, and questions.

Frequently Asked Questions

It's built for small professional and service businesses - accountants, law firms, financial advisers, consultancies, surveyors, clinics, and similar - who recognise their online presence isn't doing what it should, but don't want to manage another website project themselves. Typical businesses have between two and twenty employees.

Presence is a new service line, so we don't have a published portfolio of Presence sites yet. We're actively building it - every Presence client agrees, as part of the standard agreement, to let us feature their finished website on our portfolio and refer to the work in case studies and outreach. In return, early clients get the founder's full attention, real influence over how the service develops, and become the references future clients see.

If your business has confidentiality requirements that prevent public showcasing, talk to us in scoping - we can usually find a way to work together, but it's worth raising upfront.

Yes. The website is yours. When you leave OLXR Presence - at the end of the 12-month term, or any time after - we provide the codebase and hand off hosting in an orderly transition.

The contract becomes a rolling monthly agreement with 30 days' notice. Around month ten or eleven, we'll typically discuss a refresh or any new development you'd like - improvements, new features, design updates - and how to structure that going forward. There's no obligation to extend or renew; you're in control of what happens next.

The 12-month minimum term is a real commitment, structured to make the financial model work for both sides - the upfront build cost is amortised across the year of monthly fees, so leaving early breaks the maths.

Specifically:
  • Before go-live: the £2,000-£3,000 setup fee covers our build work to that point. If you exit before launch, the setup fee is non-refundable, but no further fees apply.
  • After go-live: the contract runs to the end of the 12-month term. If you need to exit early, you pay 50% of the remaining months as a settlement.
  • After 12 months: the contract becomes rolling monthly with 30 days' notice. Leave any time, no penalty.

Anything outside the tier scope - significant new features, integrations, or custom development beyond what's included as standard updates - is quoted separately. We'll always tell you upfront when something falls outside scope rather than absorbing it and resenting it later.

Things like content changes, image swaps, copy updates, small tweaks, and questions about the platform. If you ask us to add a new feature, build an integration, or do significant new work, that's quoted separately or built using your tier's development capacity.

A connection between your website and a third-party service - typically a CRM, email platform, calendar, or payment processor - using their published API. Standard integrations from a defined list are included in your tier. Bespoke integrations to legacy or in-house systems are quoted separately.

Presence sites are built on the same stack we use for our bespoke software work - ASP.NET Core, hosted on AWS. In practical terms: faster page loads, better security, and no WordPress plugin-and-patch cycle to manage. You don't need to know any of this to use the site - we handle all the technical layers.

WordPress sites need constant maintenance - plugins updating, security patches, things breaking when something changes. Squarespace and Wix are templates you build yourself, then manage yourself.

Presence is different on both counts. The website is bespoke (not a template) and the relationship is managed (not DIY). We build it, host it, monitor it, update it, and report on it - every month.

No. We handle everything technical on your behalf. If you want to be involved - writing blog posts, choosing topics, customising graphics - we'll make that easy. If you'd rather it just runs in the background and reports come to you each month, that works too. You decide how hands-on you want to be.
