Everyone has that one tool they wish existed. The app you’ve Googled for a dozen times and never found. The spreadsheet workaround you’ve been meaning to replace. The thing you’d happily pay for if someone just built it properly.
We hear these ideas constantly - from clients, from other founders, from conversations at events and in Slack channels. And we have plenty of our own. The problem is never a shortage of ideas. It’s knowing which ones are worth building.
So we’ve decided to open that question up.
Introducing the OLXR Incubator
We’ve added an Incubator page to our website - a place to browse and vote on product ideas. We’ve seeded it with some of our own to get things started, covering everything from cash flow tools for freelancers to AI-powered website audits. But the page isn’t really about our ideas. It’s about finding the right one.
Each idea has a short description of the problem it solves. You can vote on the ones that resonate with you - the ones where you think “I’d actually use that.” The vote counts are public, so you can see what’s gaining traction.
Your ideas are welcome too
The part we’re most interested in is the submission form. If none of our ideas match the problem you’re dealing with, tell us what does. Describe the pain point, who it affects, and whether you’d pay for a solution. That’s it.
We’re not looking for polished pitches or business plans. We’re looking for real problems that real people would pay to have solved. Sometimes the best product ideas come from a single frustrated sentence.
What happens with the results
This isn’t a poll that gets forgotten. We’re going to review the votes and submissions, follow up with people who contribute ideas, and pick one to build. When we do, we’ll build it openly - sharing progress, decisions, and what we learn along the way.
If you vote or submit an idea, you can leave your email to be notified when we start. Early contributors will get first access to whatever we build.
Have a look
The Incubator page is live now. Browse the ideas, vote, or submit your own - it takes less than a minute.
